Ashfall Legends
Ashfall Legends is the kind of RPG that respects your time on mobile without dumbing itself down. You build a party of four, each with their own kit, and the turn-based combat rewards planning over button mashing. I spent a whole evening just tweaking skill loadouts before a boss fight, and that says something.
The story is nothing groundbreaking — ancient calamity, scattered heroes, a slow return of magic — but the writing has personality and the characters actually banter. Menus can feel a little busy at first, and there is a lot to read, but once it clicks you stop noticing.
On battery it is heavier than most, especially with the higher graphics preset. I dropped it one notch down and lost almost nothing visually while gaining a good chunk of playtime. Worth doing before a long trip.
