Hollow Tide Chronicle

Hollow Tide Chronicle is the game I keep recommending to friends who say mobile has no good adventures. It is a slow, atmospheric exploration game with gorgeous hand-drawn scenes and puzzles woven into the environment rather than dropped in as filler.

There is barely any UI clutter, which I loved. You tap to move, tap to examine, and the game trusts you to figure things out. A couple of puzzles had me stuck long enough to leave and come back, and the moment they clicked was genuinely great. The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting for the mood.

It runs cool and light, so it is perfect for winding down before bed. No timers, no pressure, just you and a quiet, sad, beautiful world. Bring headphones.
