Sky Harbor Tycoon

★★★★☆ 4.1 Editor rating

Sky Harbor Tycoon scratches the planning itch. You start with a single runway and a couple of gates, and slowly build routes, hire staff, and untangle the mess when everything backs up at once. There is a real satisfaction in seeing your little airport hum along smoothly.

The pacing is on the gentle side, which fits mobile well. You can leave it running, check in later, and make a few decisions during a coffee break. Some of the later menus get dense, and I wish the game explained a few systems better, but nothing here is a dealbreaker.

Battery use is moderate and the game does not heat up much. It is comfortable for long sessions, and the option to speed up or slow down time helps you play at whatever pace you feel like.
